I found Tomato Cafe and Grill on Yelp, and was very interested to try.
From what I read on Yelp, it was a Korean Italian fusion restaurant.
Their pasta dishes all seem pretty good.
我在Yelp上找到這家Tomato Cafe and Grill，蠻想試試看，
We came on a weekday for lunch. The restaurant was about half full.
Besides the Korean-Italian fusion menu, they added a few pages of “new menu”.
Now they also serve sushi, hamburgers, and grilled whole chicken.
It’s not a good sign when they have a confusing menu like that.
You can add a cup of soup or salad for $2.99 with an entree.
We had two entrees, we added one soup and one salad.
The tomato-based chicken vegetable soup was great.
Lots of vegetables and very tasty.
I like the Seafood Rose Pasta a lot.
The tomato cream sauce was delicious.
The seafood were all very fresh.
But portion was quite small.
We love kimchi fried rice. Had to order the bacon & kimchi fried rice when we saw it on the menu.
We couldn’t taste any kimchi. The fried rice actually tasted a bit sweet.
We didn’t like it at all.
Caesar Salad was supposed to come before the entrees, but they brought it to us last.
We like the caesar salad dressing a lot.
I’m not that impressed with this restaurant.
I liked the pasta, but it’s expensive for what you get.
Service was slow. The restaurant has cute decor.
But somehow didn’t have a good vibe.
I don’t know how to explain it, but it just didn’t feel comfortable.
Glad we tried it, but probably won’t be back again.
