More “what to eat when you have a cold” post.
Anything hot and soupy is soothing for my throat.
So we headed to a Korean porridge restaurant for dinner.
The restaurant is in a large but pretty dead plaza.
A lot of people came to get take out for dinner.
The menu only has two pages.
They only serve porridge.
I got the beef and mushroom porridge.
There were ground beef and shiitake mushroom in the porridge.
3 kinds of banchan came with porridge – kimchi, spicy chopped radish and stewed beef.
The porridge tastes even better with the banchan.
附有三種小菜 – 泡菜，辣蘿蔔丁，和燉牛肉，
Dr. P ordered Seafood Combination Porridge.
There are a lot of seafood in the porridge – shrimp, oyster, octopus, clams.
The seafood porridge had a complete different flavor than my beef mushroom porridge.
We enjoyed both.
裡面有很多海鮮 – 蝦，蚵仔，小卷，蛤蠣等，
I’ve been to this restaurant once before with my sister.
I had the Octopus with Kimchi Porridge last time.
If you like spicy food, you’ll like that porridge.
