We moved to Fullerton last Sunday.
After a busy morning, we went out in our new area for an late lunch/early dinner.
Yoko is a Korean style Japanese restaurant that specializes in Donkatsu – fried pork cutlet.
They also serve udon, soba and rolls.
They gave us a bowl of sesame seeds.
After grinding the sesame seeds, the server will add the donkatsu sauce to the bowl.
Dr. P ordered the Donkatsu combo with spicy tuna roll.
I ordered the Donkatsu and soba combo.
The cold soba was so good, especially on a hot day.
Donkatsu of course was delicious.
Perfectly crisp crust with tender juicy pork on the inside.
Portion was huge!
The donkatsu plate also came with fried shrimp and potato ball.
No rice with the combo.
The donkatsu was very enjoyable with the cabbage slaw.
We love the food at Yoko, and it’s so close to our new home.
I think this will become one of our regular spots.
