We were going to take my mother-in-law out for dinner.
But she wasn’t feeling well by the time we got to her house.
She suggested us to go to Chosun Galbee, and we could bring some food home for her.
I’ve been to Chosun Galbee very long time ago when I was still living in LA.
I remember the restaurant was pretty good, but pricey.
We waited about 10 minutes for a table.
8 different banchan was immediately served.
All the banchan was tasty, especially the green beans and cucumber.
Unlimited salad to go with the BBQ meat.
I like the addition of green onion to the salad.
Brisket was pretty good, although if the meat was a bit more fattier it would be even better.
The quality of the meat is better than those all you can eat joints.
Had to order Chosun Galbee at Chosun Galbee.
If this dish has the same name as the restaurant, it must be their signature dish.
The short rib was tender and fatty. The marinate was on the sweeter side.
It was very tasty. But it is expensive!
來Chosun Galbee當然要點個Chosun Galbee啊，
We also ordered a Mul NengMyun to share (1/2 portion in picture).
The Korean cold noodle was delicious. The broth was flavorful.
The noodle was chewy. It tasted great especially after having the BBQ meat.
We ordered a Bibimbob to go for mother-in-law, and also brought some Chosun Galbee home.
Mother-in-law loved the food we brought home!
We had a good dinner at Chosun Galbee.
And yes, it was very expensive in my opinion.
We still prefer Kang Hodong Baekjeong more.
